Trick or treat

TrickI know, it repeat every year. Every year on the end of October the children are exited because...Yes, Halloween. They prepare the masks. Every year you can see the creepy decoration in front of houses or apartments. In house where we are living now we found flyer that children can't go from door to door, but Halloween party will be in the lobby. Residents can bring candy to bulding's managment. The day before Halloween I read in papers how unhealthy candy are. OK. But still I wanted to buy something. I went to Loblaws and maybe first time in my life I carefully read the ingredients. After ten or more minutes I was so confused that I bought the box of nectarines. I wasn't sure if children would liked it but... I didn't want to buy something wrong. Still I was sorry for them. Halloween is for them something like Mikuláš in Slovakia. And can you imagine Mikuláš without candy? When Halloween party started I went to the lobby. It wasn't a lot of children there but one of them took one nectarine. And even without trick I got a treat!!!

There's more pictures of this, if you want to see them...

Comment: I am thrilled to read something written by Marta that I can actually understand! If my Slovakian were half as good as Marta's English I would be more than happy with a nectarine

Thanks for reading.
